This vase has gone through multiple firings. first it was smoke fired and cracked. It was then high fired with celadon glaze to allow the cracks to open up. after that I glazed it with my Gold luster and fired to arrive at the color you see. It was finished with brass hardware and non tarnishing gold colored copper wire.

All my work is handmade at my Studio in Simsbury CT. Most of my work starts from a ball of clay on the potter's wheel. Each one is individually Created so there are no 2 alike.
